Disk 28: This critically acclaimed movie, is a real-life fact situation developed through the efforts of Bob Pack and the Troy and Alena foundation. It is a movie from a real-life situation, which has been described by almost everyone who has ever seen it, including most of all the students, to be the most compelling, breathtaking, real-life connection to how a person’s life can change in an instant and under the influence or not paying attention while driving. It includes a crash scene which will never leave the viewer’s imagination or memory. Although, tastefully minus any sensational “gore’ it sucks the students and the viewer’s deeply into the players lives and includes a real-life admonition from a movie star, which will have a lasting effect on all viewers.
This movie is also used as a fact pattern for one of our trial by jury’s, which will include the driver surviving, being crippled and charged with homicide and a host of other charges, while the parents where the alcohol is furnished, are “persons of interest in the local district attorney’s office.
